Nursing School in Anaheim, CAEverest College was founded in 1962 by Esther Bryman as the Los Angeles Colleges of Medical and Dental Assistants. The Anaheim campus opened in 1969. Since then, the college has been relocated a couple of times, and for a time was owned by the National Education Corporation.

In 1995, Corinthian Schools, Inc. (CSI), a division of Corinthian Colleges, Inc, acquired the school, and the name was changed to Everest College, Corinthian Schools, Inc. There are several Everest campuses, but the Anaheim campus provides a central location in Southern California, about halfway between Los Angeles and San Diego. From the beginning, Everest’s mission has been to prepare men and women with both the knowledge and the skills to excel in their careers. Their mission to the community is to graduate well-prepared people to fill job vacancies, especially in high-demand professions. Everest fulfills its mission by providing high quality academics, current technology for skill acquisition and an outstanding faculty.
