About the Practical Nursing Program
Offering an excellent program for student's entering the world of nursing, Carrington College's Practical Nursing program will prepare students to perform the rewarding work of caring for patients and assisting physicians.
Consisting of both classroom theoretical learning and real-world clinical experience, this program features comprehensive training in various disciplines related to nursing. Goals of the program include providing students with the skills, knowledge and attitude essential to becoming a competent and caring nursing professional. This program will successfully prepare students for a satisfying and rewarding career in nursing.
About the Registered Nursing Program
Also available as an advanced Associate Degree Registered Nursing program, the Nursing program at Carrington College is designed to give students the skills needed in order to become professional, exceptional nurses. In addition to learning the requisite nursing skills, students will also take general education courses, designed to provide graduates with the communication, decision making, and efficiency skills needed in order to become health care professionals.
Accreditation
Carrington College's Boise campus is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS) to award Associate of Science degrees, Associate of Occupational Studies degrees, diplomas and certificates.
