About the Nursing Programs

The University of Phoenix offers several professional nursing programs in the Boise area.

The RN to Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is a program designed to develop the professional knowledge and skills of registered nurses. A 41-credit required course of study and a 6-credit elective requirement program , the curriculum builds on a foundation of biological, physical, and social sciences, which contribute to the science of nursing.

Phoenix offers several graduate degree options for nurses in Boise. Nurses can choose to get an MBA in Health Care Management or an MSN (Master of Science in Nursing). The MSN program also includes a Family Nurse Practitioner or a Health Care Educator option. Master’s level nurses learn advanced nursing theory, practice and research and are prepared to assume nursing leadership roles.
