About the Nursing Programs

The University of Phoenix offers several professional nursing programs in the Clearfield area.

The RN to BSN Bridge program is designed to develop the professional skills and knowledge of registered nurses. Building on the foundations of the biological, physical, and social sciences, this program focuses on the nurse's role as a teacher, caregiver, and leader. Students take a minimum of 120 credit hours in liberal arts and nursing classes. The nursing classes also focus on advanced clinical nursing practices and critical thinking.

Phoenix offers several graduate degree options for nurses in Clearfield. Nurses can choose to get an MBA in Health Care Management or an MSN (Master of Science in Nursing). Located in Northern Utah, Ogden is home to an extensive trail system, immediately adjacent to the city's eastern edge, giving residents and visitors immediate access to the foothills of the Wasatch Range. The foothill trails are used for hiking, running, mountain biking, and sometimes snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. Ogden also has many downhill ski areas within a short distance such as Snowbasin, Powder Mountain, and Wolf Mountain.

Because of Ogden’s idyllic beauty it is often the location for big budget Hollywood film productions. Ogden is also close to Utah’s major metropolis of Salt Lake City.
