Lincoln Technical Institute was founded in 1946 as a post-World War II training institution. Lincoln Tech exists to provide skilled, qualified individuals ready to enter the job market in a variety of technical fields. About the Practical Nursing Program

Lincoln Tech provides skill training in all aspects of nursing. Graduates are prepared to take the NCLEX exam for practical nurses and to apply for licensure as an LPN.

Financial Aid
Because Lincoln Technical Institute is a fully accredited school, students can take advantage of all state and federal financial aid programs, including Pell Grants, Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grants, Federally funded student loans and Work-Study programs. Students should complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid and contact the Financial Aid office at the school.
Lincoln Tech recognizes that getting an education can be costly, but the school does not believe that cost should be a barrier to education. Not only do they provide assistance in finding educational funding, but classes are scheduled so that students can continue to work while attending school.
Going to School in Edison
Formerly known as Raritan Township, Edison was first settled in the late 1600's, when it was part of Woodbridge and Piscataway townships. Rich in history, Edison is home to Old Post Road, the earliest public road in eastern New Jersey. This road is said to have been used by President George Washington as he traveled through the state on the way to his inauguration in New York City in April 1789.
Today, Edison serves as home to more than 100,000 residents and is a hub of rail and highway networks for the distribution of numerous goods and services. In addition, it is also home to the Raritan Center, which is the largest industrial park, east of the Mississippi River.
