About the Associate Degree in Nursing Education Program
This 17-month accelerated program results in a diploma and prepares graduates to write the National Council of Licensing Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX). Graduates that successfully complete this test are not only certified to work in the state of Utah but are able to work in all 50 U.S. states and the U.S. territories.
This program requires students to successfully complete a variety of courses. The primary areas of course study include Pediatrics, Gerontology, Critical Care, and Medical-Surgical Nursing.

About the LPN to RN Program
LPN's who wish to upgrade their classification to RN status can take this accelerated course and graduate in six months. Courses focus on all areas of nursing education including patient care, nursing practices, and leadership.
