Pasadena

The main cultural center of the San Gabriel Valley, Pasadena is a city that many leading scientific and cultural institutions call home.

Home to the California Institute of Technology (Caltech), Art Center College of Design, the Pasadena Playhouse, California School of Culinary Arts Pasadena and the Norton Simon Museum of Art, this city of more than 134,000 residents is a hub of activity in the Los Angeles County area.

One of the most notable attractions in Pasadena is South Orange Grove Boulevard, which is also known as "millionaire's row". Home over the years to residents such as Adolphus Busch, William Wrigley Jr., and David and Mary Gamble.

While many of the old estates are gone, they have been replaced with an impressive array of apartments and condominiums. Though far less regal than the vast homes they replaced, these apartment units maintain verdant and meticulously trimmed grounds that still exude a sense of wealth and command high property values.

From mountains caressed by the sun to extraordinary turn-of-the-century architecture, there is nowhere else quite like Pasadena.  You'll love going to school in Pasadena, CA!
