About the Nursing Programs

The University of Phoenix offers several professional nursing programs in the Provo area.

The RN to BSN Bridge program is designed to develop the professional skills and knowledge of registered nurses. Building on the foundations of the biological, physical, and social sciences, this program focuses on the nurse's role as a teacher, caregiver, and leader.. Students take a minimum of 120 credit hours in liberal arts and nursing classes. The nursing classes also focus on advanced clinical nursing practices and critical thinking.

Phoenix offers several graduate degree options for nurses in Provo. Nurses can choose to get an MBA in Health Care Management or an MSN (Master of Science in Nursing). The MSN program also includes a Family Nurse Practitioner or a Health Care Educator option. Master’s level nurses learn advanced nursing theory, practice and research and are prepared to assume nursing leadership roles.
