About the Practical Nursing Program
This program offers a theoretical background with a heavy emphasis on practical training in the provision of health care support. The student will learn to work with clients and health care team members while using critical thought in the performance of requisite duties ensuring the safety of the patient and quality of care provided by the physician and the facility.
This program results in a diploma for successful graduates who then may write the NCLEX for certification. Student course work for this degree will focus on general nursing care, pharmacology, and basic human anatomy.
