About the RN to BSN Program

A program designed for registered nurses who an AA degree, or for diploma graduates of an NLNAC accredited school, the RN to BSN program is structured in a way that allows students to study and work simultaneously.

Focusing on innovative health care concepts, the RN to BSN program teaches students palliative care, complementary and alternative nursing, and gerontological nursing. Designed to teach students management skill such as prioritizing, and delegating responsibility, the RN to BSN program is an accelerated program.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

A great way to gain a solid foundation in an exciting career field, the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program at South University focuses on the core concepts of holism, critical thinking, communication, caring, and professionalism. In addition, the BSN program at South University includes both clinical and theoretical training environments, modeling what is required in many real-world nursing environments.  Upon completion of the BSN program at South University, graduate students must pass the National Council Licensure Examination Registered Nurse (NCLEXRN).
