About Everest College
Everest College was founded in 1962 by Esther Bryman as the Los Angeles Colleges of Medical and Dental Assistants. In 1995, Corinthian Schools, Inc. (CSI), a division of Corinthian Colleges, Inc, acquired the school, and the name was changed to Everest College, Corinthian Schools, Inc.
There are several Everest campuses, and the San Bernardino campus offers the career training and life skills needed to succeed in the field of nursing. Specializing in offering short-term career training, each class is designed to help you understand vital concepts quickly and easily.
From the beginning, Everest’s mission has been to prepare men and women with both the knowledge and the skills to excel in their careers. About the Medical Assistant Program
The objective of the Medical Assisting program is to provide graduates with the skills and knowledge that will enable them to qualify for entry-level positions as Medical Assistants.
Through the Medical Assisting Program at Everest College, you will be prepared to maintain the highest quality of patient care. This inculdes taking vital signs, running laboratory and diagnostic tests, all while utilizing your organization, communication and management skills. With these skills and more, we'll equip you with the tools necessary to gain employment in a hospital, clinic, doctor´s office, nursing home, medical supply business, home healthcare agency, insurance company or pharmaceutical company.
Accreditation
Everest College is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology. This level of accreditation allows students to participate in all Federal education financing programs.
Everest is also approved to operate in California by the Bureau for Private Post secondary and Vocational Education. This means that the school meets minimum state standards for post secondary education.

Going to School in San Bernardino

Although known for three major events each year including the National Orange Show held in the Spring, the Route 66 Rendezvous held in the Fall and the Western Regional Little League baseball championships held in Summer, the city has lots more to offer.
San Bernardino is home to a wide array of cultural offerings. The San Bernardino County Museum holds a collection of artifacts representing the area’s cultural and natural heritage. Then there is the California Theatre of the Performing Arts offering amazing musical and stage presentations. And of course you don’t want to miss the Redlands or as know in 1900 as “The City of Millionaires”.
