About Brown Mackie College
The South Bend campus of Brown Mackie College was established in 1882 under the name South Bend Commercial College. In the 1930s, the school changed its name Michiana College and started to award Associate degrees and business certificates. The current location was established in 1987, and it fell under the Brown Mackie name in 2004.
