Applicants wishing to attend the Ultimate Medical Academy must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent before they can be admitted.
About the Nursing Assistant Program
The Ultimate Medical Academy is ever aware of the health care industry, its trends and needs. They pass this knowledge onto their students through an expert faculty, preparing students to play a critical role in hospitals, rehabilitation centers and assisted-living facilities.
The nursing assistant course is a seven-week, career-focused program resulting in a certificate of completion. The students are expected to complete courses centered on the fundamentals of medical terminology, medical ethics, anatomy, physiology, developmental psychology, procedural documentation, patient observation and patient safety.
This introduction will prepare graduates to write the National Nurse Aid Assessment Program Exam, certifying them to work not only in the state of Florida, but also across all fifty U.S. states and in the U.S. territories. Upon certification, graduates have the necessary skills and knowledge to gain entry-level nursing support positions in the health care industry in hospitals, clinics, long-term health care facilities and public health.
While at the Ultimate Medical Academy, students will be trained in areas such as patient care, anatomy, physiology, medical ethics, equipment and safety and emergency procedures, including CPR.

The Ultimate Medical Academy is accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) and is licensed to operate in Florida by the Commission for Independent Education.
